Little Dutch is looking for a Purchasing department from September 1, 2025:

Intern (m/f)
for a period of 5-6 months

The department:
The Purchasing department currently consists of 8 colleagues and is responsible for the entire process of purchasing, assortment management and inventory management.
Together with Design, they ensure a commercially innovative range that meets the Little Dutch image, price level and is in line with the set commercial goals and timeframe.
As an intern, you support the purchasing team. Together with the Category Managers and Product Managers, you ensure that the product development process runs smoothly from start to finish. You have a lot of contact with suppliers and internal departments, such as Design, Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Sales, Logistics and Customer Service.

Your duties:

  • Preparing and processing sample comments;
  • Managing and organizing the sample collection so that everything is clear and easy to find;
  • Support in drawing up style sheets and specifications and guiding the entire sampling process;
  • Checking and processing product data and performing quality controls;
  • Communicating with suppliers about product adjustments, delivery times and improvements;
  • Assist in coordinating deliveries and monitoring deadlines;
  • Assist in conducting market analyses and trend research to further develop the collection;
  • Ensure accurate administration and processing in the systems.

What we expect from you:

  • HBO education, preferably in the direction of textiles/fashion;
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Creative, accurate and have an eye for detail;
  • Solution-oriented, flexible and stress-resistant and takes proactive initiative;
  • Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset;
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
