Little Dutch celebrates its 10th anniversary
Together with business partners, friends, family and colleagues, Little Dutch celebrated its 10th anniversary on 28 June 2019. We took a trip down memory lane while enjoying drinks and good food. In addition to the festivities, Little Dutch’s owners, Rinke van der Helm and Ad Ammerlaan, announced the new collaboration with the Friends of the Sophia Foundation.
Together with business partner Tiamo and the Friends of the Sophia Foundation, connected to the Erasmus MC-Sophia Children’s Hospital, Little Dutch designed new toy items based on the hospital’s mascots. They are available in shops by the end of 2019. Part of their proceeds will be donated to the Foundation.
Founder/Designer Rinke Van der Helm: “What started as a fun hobby 10 years ago, has become a dream come true. The fact that we’re celebrating Little Dutch’s 10th anniversary with such a beautiful collaboration, feels like a huge reward for all the hard work we’ve put in.”
From a small attic room, Rinke van der Helm and her sister started the webshop ‘Kus van Zus’, by selling their home-made lampshades. Two years, later, Rinke set up her own label: Little Dutch. Now, 10 years later, Little Dutch has grown into a serious European player in the field of baby and children’s room accessories and toys. A solid company that wants to leave its imprint by creating surprising products.
