Terms and Conditions 

Little Dutch Design Contest Soft Dolls  

1. Organizer 

The Little Dutch Design Contest is organized by Little Dutch B.V., based in the Netherlands (hereinafter referred to as “Little Dutch”). 

2. Participants 

  1. Participation is open to parents/guardians of children aged 2 to 12 years living in Europe. 
  2. Minors participate under the responsibility and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. 
  3. Employees of Little Dutch and directly involved partners are excluded from participation. 

3. Participation 

  1. Participation is free of charge. 
  2. Participants can take part by: 
  1. Design a soft doll using the designated design template. The use of different materials and creative techniques is permitted. 
  2. Submitting the design to Little Dutch B.V.  
  • The physical design must be received by Little Dutch B.V. latest 20 March 2026. Sending the design can be done by using the free shipping label. The shipping label can be downloaded via www.little-dutch.com/design-contest.

  1. Participants are encouraged to follow the Instagram account @littledutch_official to stay informed about updates regarding the contest. 

 

 

 

4. Contest Period 

The contest runs from 20 February 2026 to 20 March 2026. Entries received after this date will not be considered. 

5. Selection and Jury 

  1. From all valid entries, a Little Dutch jury will select eight (8) finalists. The jury will assess the entries based on creativity and originality. 
  2. The selection is supported by a children’s jury, whose preferences will be shared with the jury. The jury will take the children’s jury’s input into consideration when selecting the eight finalists. 
  3. The jury’s final decisions are not subject to explanation or correspondence.  
  4. The eight finalists will be announced on 27 March 2026 via Little Dutch’s official Instagram channel. 
  5. Through an online voting round on Instagram on 27 and 28 March 2026, four (4) winners will be selected based on the highest number of valid votes. 
  6. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram (Meta). 
  7. The outcome is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results. 

6. Prizes 

  1. All eight finalists will receive one Little Dutch soft doll of their choice, 35 cm in size. 
  2. For the four winners, their design will be translated into a unique soft doll, produced once and exclusively for the winner. 
  3. Prizes are guaranteed, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products. 

7. Intellectual Property 

  1. By participating in the contest, finalists and winners fully and unconditionally transfer all intellectual property rights, including copyrights and moral rights, to Little Dutch. 
  2. Little Dutch obtains the exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and exploit the designs without limitation and without any obligation to provide compensation. 
  3. Little Dutch is entitled to further develop or (commercially) apply the designs without any obligation to produce or compensate.  

 

 

8. Use of AI and Editing 

  1. Little Dutch reserves the right to digitally edit submitted designs, including the use of AI technology, for example for animations or videos for marketing and communication purposes. 
  2. Participants waive any rights to such edits. 

 

9. Publicity & Portrait Rights 

  1. By participating, participants grant Little Dutch permission to use photos, videos, names, and entries of finalists and winners for marketing, promotional, and communication purposes. 
  2. Little Dutch may request or create visual materials for this purpose. 
  3. No compensation will be provided.  

10. Liability 

  1. Little Dutch is not liable for loss, damage, or delay of entries. 
  2. Little Dutch is not responsible for technical or logistical issues that prevent participation. 
  3. Parents/guardians of participating children indemnify Little Dutch against any damage resulting from participation in the design contest. 

11. Privacy 

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR) and will be used solely for the execution and communication of this contest.  

12. Miscellaneous Provisions 

Little Dutch reserves the right to amend these terms or terminate the contest prematurely if circumstances require. 

In cases not covered by these terms, Little Dutch will decide. 

Dutch law applies to these promotional terms and conditions.
